Location: BROOMHILL
Duration: 9am - 2pm

Seasonal Context: Late summer offers dry conditions ideal for controlled burns and biochar creation. This is a moment to return carbon to the soil while preparing beds for the slower, nutrient-building months ahead.
Ways to Participate: Assisting with biochar preparation and burn process
Collecting and sorting suitable woody material
Charging and integrating biochar into compost or soil
Observing and learning without direct fire work
Learning Focus: Understanding biochar as a regenerative tool — how it improves soil structure, holds nutrients and moisture, and supports microbial life while sequestering carbon long-term.
